City-forming character
When designing the Białołęka swimming pool, we wanted to create a public, open, accessible and truly urban place. To achieve this, we took advantage of the surroundings areas, namely the important Ostródzka Street (the pool is situated opposite a school and next to a church) and the beautiful natural surroundings of the Brzeziński Ditch. The swimming pool building and the future park are equally important elements of the overall project. Thanks to this symbiosis of nature and architecture, the whole area has a chance to become a visible landmark of Białołęka, which in turn will be perceived as a district developing in a sustainable manner and with respect for the natural environment.

Recreation in touch with nature
The heart of the swimming pool – the pool and sauna area – opens scenically to the park with its natural flora and ecosystem. The tree-lined background is conducive to relaxation and play, creating a space for interaction between the swimming pool users. In the design, we used durable materials such as wood and architectural concrete, which, when used in accordance with their purpose and properties, will create a place that is friendly, peaceful and timeless.
